Message From Congress President

It is with great honor and pleasure that I welcome you all to the 22^nd Annual Meeting of the Asian Society for Neuro-Oncology (ASNO) in conjunction with the 18^th Annual Meeting of the Indian Society of Neuro-Oncology (ISNO) scheduled to be held from 4^th to 7^th March 2027 at Anantara Jewel Bagh Hotel in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. ISNO is extremely proud to host all our Overseas colleagues in the ‘Pink City’ of Jaipur known for its rich Indian culture and heritage.

‘Unity in Diversity’ – tagline of our Meeting truly captures the essence and spirit of ASNO. Despite substantial differences in geo-political stratum, socio-cultural milieu, and health-care infrastructure across the Asian region, ASNO brings together all stakeholders (academic experts, industry partners, and patient advocates) from diverse disciplines for mutual collaboration and cooperation to advance the field of Neuro-Oncology. As one of the Charter Societies of the World Federation of Neuro-Oncologic Societies (WFNOS), ASNO aspires to increase global presence and drive international outreach and innovation in Neuro-Oncology in close association with the Society for Neuro-Oncology (SNO) and European Association of Neuro-Oncology (EANO) through shared mission and vision.

The principle scientific theme of our Meeting – ‘Precision Neuro-Oncology: Expanding the Horizon’ represents our commitment towards greater individualization and personalization of therapy. Rapid advances and deeper insights into molecular biology of tumors involving the brain and central nervous system has opened avenues and opportunities for identifying newer and novel targets that is likely to change and shape neuro-oncologic practice in the near future.

I sincerely hope that all of you have an enriching and engaging scientific experience at the Meeting but are also able to spare time to explore the City and its surroundings and enjoy the warm Indian hospitality to make your visit an unforgettable and memorable experience.
